Speakers:

🔹 Magdalena Klarenbach (Klara) | Open Plan Foundation
Klara is a sociologist, climate crisis researcher, and ecological NGO practitioner. Her research interests focus on youth movements, the climate crisis, experimental education, and societal transitions. She is the founder and board member of the Open Plan Foundation. In 2024, she was awarded a Humanity in Action Fellowship and began her position as a researcher at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
🔹 Hannah Henyenn | MigLAB
Hannah Heyenn is a researcher and trainer focused on inclusion and participation for newcomers and marginalized communities in Germany and beyond. She has 10 years experience designing and managing European projects. She specialises in participatory community action research and capacity development for adults and youth. MigLAB – Transforming Labour and Migration miglab.de


🔹 Marta Warat | Jagiellonian University
Marta Warat – PhD, earned her degree in sociology at the Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University (MA 2005) and in European studies at the Centre for European Studies of Exeter University. Her PhD thesis (2011) focused on citizenship and its various forms among Muslim women in Britain. From 2006 onwards she has been a researcher at the Institute of Sociology and she was appointed a Post Doctoral Researcher in Gender equality and quality of life – how gender equality can contribute to development in Europe.
🔹 Tadeusz Rudek | Jagiellonian University
Tadeusz Rudek – defended his PhD in sociological sciences with distinction at Jagiellonian University in 2024 and held fellowships at Harvard University, Kings College and ETH Zurich. His academic work I study socio-technical change. His research helps to answer very specific, socially relevant questions such as: what does the acceptance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) depend on? Why is green-deal controversial? Or even why are vaccines controversial and what advice can a sociologist give to a paediatrician?
