From 7-11 of April, partners of the ELY (Energy Literacy for Youth) project gathered in Denmark for the second Transnational Project Meeting, hosted by our dedicated partners at INFORSE Europe. This five-day meeting marked an important milestone in our journey, offering a dynamic space for reflection, collaboration, and forward planning.
The meeting was a valuable opportunity to assess our progress, exchange ideas, and strengthen the synergy across the consortium. A key highlight of the agenda was a practical training session on the development of our upcoming Energy Literacy curriculum. This curriculum will be a cornerstone of the ELY project, aiming to equip young people with the knowledge and skills they need to understand and engage with sustainable energy systems. The session ensured that all partners are aligned and prepared to deliver high-quality, impactful education for youth.
Adding further inspiration to the visit, the consortium embarked on a field trip to the Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy. There, we explored innovative technologies and approaches in the field of renewable energy, and discussed how these can inform and enrich our work with young learners. The visit sparked new ideas and reinforced our commitment to embedding sustainability practices into youth education.
From insightful discussions and collaborative workshops to hands-on experiences and knowledge-sharing, the Denmark meeting was both energising and productive. We extend our heartfelt thanks to INFORSE Europe for their generous hospitality, and to all our project partners for their continued dedication and enthusiasm.
Together, we are building a more energy-literate generation and advancing a greener, more sustainable future.
